New main menu, Higher resolution + Faster on Smartphones


After a week of not being able to upload any changes (due to the rating phase of the Godot Wild Jam competition)  MagnoDrive just got updated.

This mostly fixes issues for Smartphones and speeds up the overall performance of the game, as it now renders the HUD inside the GPU. Before this was done in CPU. And on slower CPUs this caused lagging, dropped frames and problems with the audio in the browser.

Another new thing is the main menu, which is good to stop the game and make sure people click at least once into the screen to activate the reaction to keyboard controls on PCs. Some browsers need this. Also it has an option to switch the game to full screen or back to windowed mode.

Apart from this, I adapted the rendering of the track. It got a more complex shading and the texture for the track is scaled differently to give it a more sharp and quality appearance.

Also the HUD is now slightly different, it now rotates with the track and the inner circle is now scaled down if the speed is higher, so that the outer rim of the inner circle is projected directly where it would jump to if you activate that. If you did not notice before: the jump distance increases if the speed is higher. This means being able jumping over wider gaps, but also makes jumps on a spiral more difficult.
